Museum of the Southwest
Midland
Shaded by lush landscaping, the Museum of the Southwest lives in the historic Turner Mansion, recognized as a state and national historic site. Built in 1934, the Mansion and grounds became the Museum's permanent home in 1968. The Museum complex has grown to include the Marian Blakemore Planetarium and Fredda Turner Durham Children's Museum.
Today on the grounds of the Museum, you will find one of the Southwest's most interactive and imaginative blends of art and science.
